Walking is a moving stance and is slower than the default Jogging. Walking is performed by Holding "C" (default key) while moving.

Like the more-used crouching, walking eliminates the sound of the player's shoes moving around, which is extremely helpful in more quieter matches where the sound of boots clanking on metal catwalks or crunching in snow may lose their lives to careful enemies who may be careful listeners who can hear your incoming presence.
The increase accuracy and decrease in speed is also on par with crouching. However, walking has fallen into uncommon use because crouching maintains a lower profile, a more viable choice while taking cover behind short barriers such as crates and other pieces of the map's environment. Moreover, with the release of the ability Specter, players can now move at their regular jogging speeds without being loud enough to make it obvious that someone is nearby.
Trivia[]
- Players can also walk when zooming in on a weapon. However, footsteps sounds are not eliminated.
- The Specter ability can remedy this issue.
