Support Weapon

Support Weapons are wielded in the Support slot, or slot number '4'. Primary and Secondary weapons cannot be equipped in the Support slot Only one support weapon can be carried in the Support slot at a time, but other support weapons can be placed in extra backpack slots.

There are three types of Support Weapons: Detectors, Explosives, and Grenades. Detectors display the enemies' positions on the player's radar. Explosives, when used, deal damage in a blast radius. Grenades are weapons that can be thrown (by the player) into the battlefield, and has its own uses (example, the M18 Smoke, when thrown, covers the area with smoke. While the M69HE Frag deals explosive damage in its blast radius).

Trivia

• All Support Weapons have the same portability of 97.
• After the 06/15/2016 maintenance, support weapons went through a few changes:
  • Grenades have a new "metal clank" noise when dropped on the ground.
  • Medkit, First Aid Kit, Stamina Kit, Airstrike Designator - LGB, Airstrike Designator - Napalm, M93 Hornet, Claymore, Remote Grenade, and Caltrops are categorized as support weapons, replacing the specialist category.
