The Specialist Backpack License is a Specialist Item introduced in the 3-31-10 Content Update. Like Backpacks for Mercenaries and Base Characters, they allow Specialists to carry one additional regular weapon and one Specialist item at the same time.

This item is similar to the Specialist 2 Slot License, except the 2 slot lets the Player carry two Specialist Items, instead of one. Yet compared to the 2 Slot License, the backpack is slightly less popular, since most players would rather carry 2 powerful specialist weapons at once rather than one Specialist weapon and some other standard weapon. As to whether it affects a player's gameplay skills, it is a matter of preference.
