| Shoulder Peeking |
|---|
Shoulder-Peeking is a technique that players use to see over obstacles that clearly shouldn't be able to be seen over while crouching. Nexon has no real opinion on it, despite all the outcry and heated debate from players. It was often used for sniping on maps, but recently Nexon made it a bannable offense to use the so called "glitch rock" on Kill Creek or the "glitch boxes" on Death Room, greatly reducing the prevalence of this exploit. This technique is often used in maps like Grave Digger, in which players hide behind the box located next to the coffin - underground. this is also done in Death Room and Short Fuse.
How it Works
The reason shoulder-peeking works is rather simple. Nexon created their character models` viewpoints at the top of their heads instead of actually at eye-level, which allows players to see a few inches higher than they should be able to.
