ServerCheck
Server Overload/Channel Crash
Forms:

Server Overload

Type:

Crash entire server/channel

Trigger:

On Join, In-Game, On Kick

Effect:

Crash entire channel or server, so that it is unusable.

Server Overloading is a hack, or the use of hacks, to lag the room (or even server) so badly that everyone within the area will D/C. This hack can cause major annoyances for most players and there is no surefire way to prevent it. This hack can be performed in the Lobby or In-Game, and is often used in conjunction with other hacks. This hack is frequently confused with Server Crasher as they both sound similar. However, Server Crasher only disconnects the room the hacker is in, not the whole server.

The true Server Overload is rarely seen as it is supposedly patched and is exclusive to V.I.P hack packages. Server Crasher (known as room crasher) is distributed publicly as of 2011

Before the majority of server overloading hacks were patched, hackers could use other hacks like OPK quite rampantly and threaten to crash the server if he or she got kicked.

Reporting Hackers[]

Every hacker should be reported, however make sure you are 100% sure that he/she is hacking before reporting. Helping a hacker or benefiting from a hacker is against Nexon's Terms of Service and is one way to get suspended and possibly banned from the game.
