The Second Anniversary Gear (spelled as 2nd) were a special collective set of items which were released in celebration of Combat Arms' 2nd Anniversary (July '9 - July '12).
Theme[]
The 2nd Anniv. Set features a blue electrical theme (vaguely resembling the Crusher's color scheme).
Overview[]
This set includes the 2nd Anniversary Backpack, 2nd Anniversary Helmet, and the 2nd Anniversary Mask (in order on when did they were given). After some time around 12:00 AM in the Pacific Zone (which is a new day where the servers are at), players who logged in at the specific times were automatically gifted the item.
Unlike the initial Anniversary Gear, every piece of equipment that is received was automatically Permanent. What was also different was that some of these items actually have statistical advantages, in comparison with the Default equipment. This was a big plus for people who were too low-on-GP/lazy to rent body items (albeit the improved stats cannot compare to NX or even most GP gear).
It was the first Anniversary set that didn't have a make-up date for those who didn't log in during the specified days.
Second Anniversary Backpack[]
The Backpack.
The 2nd Anniversary Backpack is a standard backpack with blue electricity near the edges of the bottom and the "2ND Annivesary Combat Arms" insignia in the middle.
Second Anniversary Helmet[]
The Helmet.
The 2nd Anniversary Helmet is a simple black helmet with blue electricity near the back and "2ND Anniversary" on the front. It is an identical cosmetic variant of the Skull Helmet.
Second Anniversary Mask[]
The Mask.
The 2nd Anniversary Mask is a plain steel mask with blue electricity on each side, and the "2ND Anniversary" insignia on the front.
Trivia[]
- Though many players were excited to obtain free, new equipment at the time; many higher-ranked players were disappointed since the recently-released Default Upgrade items were statistically much better.
- This gear is often worn to symbolize that the player is a proud "2010er."
- Strangely, the First Anniversary Gear used only letters to spell first, while the 2nd Anniversary items used abbreviations. The former was soon changed to match the latter.
