Starting December 15th, each soldier will be issued an assignment to either Scorpions or Spiders when they log in. Until January 16th, you will be neck and neck with your opposing team every day. Not only will you be fighting for the honor of claiming as many days as possible for your team, you will be competing for the ultimate in perks and prizes.	”

The Scorpions Vs. Spiders event is one of the largest game-wide events to ever take place in Combat Arms. First revealed in the 12/15/10 Content Update, it was a unique type of event where you are assigned to a specific "faction" - Scorpions or Spiders. Everyone who will plays during the event will earn EXP and GP for themselves as well as their team. Each day, the team that managed to earn the most EXP and GP total would earn a "Flag". The team with the most flags after January 16th, 2011 would receive a grand prize.

Prizes were distributed at the end of the event depending on how many flags each team had acquired.

In the end, the Spider team obtained all the prizes; while the Scorpions only received the top half of the list.

Trivia

• Many players believed that the entire event was rigged several times, the first time favored only one team (Spiders) by "stacking" and giving them a flag almost every time, the second time made sure that the scores stayed close (with big random comebacks from the opposing team).
• Because clans were automatically assigned to a faction (and the fact that some clans have well over 50-members), the Spider population was noticeably larger than the Scorpions.
