This glitch has not been patched as of March 2009.
Requirements: Grenades (default), Sniper Rifle in Primary slot
To do this glitch, you must have a sniper rifle in your primary slot. Then throw a grenade beneath you, and pull out a sniper rifle and zoom in. When you kill yourself, you will be permanently zoomed in. If your sniper rifle is in your backpack, this will NOT work
This partially works for any kind of scoped weapon, like an Assault Rifle with an ACOG scope. When one is zoomed in and then accidentally commits suicide by falling, they would be still zoomed in until they respawn. You will then be unscoped when you respawn.
