Overview[]
As one of the rarest hacks in Combat Arms is gradually disappearing from the game due to increased security measures within each update.
To guard against rank hacks, anyone with the rank of General of the Army or higher, as well as people with more than maximum EXP, is automatically banned by the Game Guard system upon login. Lower ranks take a while before they are discovered and banned.
In-Game Rank Hack[]
Another hack which emerged early 2011 along with the GM Impersonation hack, the Rank hack does not rank the hacker up automatically, but instead covers their true rank with another rank symbol in-game.
Trivia[]
- The real rank hack (which affects the player's Rank, EXP and stats) is supposedly patched as there have been no appearances since Tsor was banned for supposedly 'editing' his stats and having over 12 billion EXP. Tsor's case, however, remains disputed to whether it was Nexon's failure or whether he actually used a rank hack.
Reporting Hackers[]
Every hacker should be reported, however make sure you are 100% sure that he/she is hacking before reporting. Helping a hacker or benefiting from a hacker is against Nexon's Terms of Service and is one way to become suspended and possibly banned from the game.
