Hidden NPCs (Anti-Hack NPCs) only appear on the map if a hack is detected in a Fireteam Match. It is advised to leave the game if a hacker is present to not be suspended for 30 days for aiding the hacker. Those NPCs are invulnerable to any weapon and cannot be killed. These so called 'Hidden NPCs' can only be damaged, letting the hacker score almost an unlimited amount of points. Hidden NPCs are rumored to be the same models as the AIs of the current map. Many hackers do not believe that the models are purely for pre-loaded models of the AI, nor are used to deter hackers.
- In Desert Thunder, they look exactly like the Sand Hog Scout .
- The death of these NPCs results in Nexon receiving an alert, and instant reviewing of the gameplay data, they will be able to confirm the player hacking.
- If hacker is hacking, and other players kill any other enemies (thus, covering the hacker), those players will receive a 30 day ban.
- The exactitude of conditions that trigger them are unknown.
- To know the presence of Hidden NPCs on the map, the Minimap must be consulted; although, they will quickly disappear in the waves of dots on the it.
- They are normally two; they go from outside the map boundaries and quickly get within the boundaries.
- The number of Hidden NPCs spawned is according to how many different enemies are on the current map. For example, Cabin Fever and Black Lung have 4 NPCS: the Mauler, Charger, Striker and Crusher.
- FUN FACT: Due to the rumor (and recent confirmation) of these NPCs, the number of hackers have been greatly reduced in a Fireteam match.
- The hidden NPC's in NEMEXIS HQ will stare at the players when they shoot.
