The Good Bye Merc Sale gives players an to purchase mercenaries for 7, 30 and permanent durations, before they're removed from the game infinitely. The event is held from between 6th - 13th June, 2012.
The mercenaries are going to be removed from the in-game shop and replaced with updated ones after the 13th June.

The event was held similar to the Changing of the Guard Sale that occured with all known Operatives of its time.
Hana, Zadan and Max were the only mercenaries who weren't included in the sale.
Even though Max wasn't included in the sale, she was removed from the game without a notice. She was re-released (along with the other mercenaries) after the 6-15-12 Patch.
In Combat Arms Europe, all the mercenaries were on sale, unlike Combat Arms North America, Hana, Max, Zadan weren't available for permanent purchase.
Many players at the time questioned as to why Mercenaries who had a high speed statistic in their vest had their speed lowered. Buying a Light Vest would be more efficient as the -10% Protection statistic would be the same, but the Speed statistic would be higher by 4%.
In the Reloaded update, some of the Mercenaries were brought back into the shop for purchase. The rest are still available for indirect purchase from gear boxes.
