Player is completely invulnerable to damage

Godmode is an infamous type of hack known throughout a variety of video games.

It renders the player invincible, giving them immunity to all kinds of damage. The name comes from the phrase "playing god," someone known to be nigh-invulnerable.

True Godmode is the only hack in Combat Arms that has been rendered fully obsolete. However, many similar hacks have been spawned which give off the illusion of this legendary exploit. Therefore, they should not be confused with actual Godmode.

Overview[]

In its simplest form, Godmode simply prevents a player from receiving any damage and dying. Nothing can hurt them, cause their health to go down, or even impair them in the least.

Spin-Offs[]

There are many hacks that resemble Godmode, but fall short because they use some form of a proxy to achieve invulnerability.

One such form involves a "bubble" surrounding a hacker which nullifies all forms of damage to an extent.

Another, highly common form of Godmode is an exploit of the Spawn Shield - i.e, the hacker's spawn shield never ends, thus making him/her completely immune to damage.

HP Lock[]

HP Lock is when a hacker locks their HP in place, therefore keeping their HP at a set value. Sometimes the HP Lock does not work with Explosives, making the hacker die from them. HP Lock is similar to Godmode, only HP Lock tends to stop working after taking extreme damage.

Zero HP God Mode[]

0 HP Godmode works similarly to HP Lock, but instead, locks the player's HP at 0, not allowing them to die. However, the hacker is vulnerable to explosives. This is not exactly 'god mode' as it just allows the player to take a ton of damage before succumbing to death. Headshots are more effective towards a player using this hack.

Reporting Hackers[]

Every hacker should be reported, however make sure you are 100% sure that he/she is hacking before reporting. Helping a hacker or benefiting from a hacker is against Nexon's Terms of Service and is one way to get suspended and possibly banned from the game.
