Map 2

A picture of the glitch map

The Glitch Map is a "map" that can be experienced very briefly in the lobby. It is the placeholder for all the maps, appearing only while you are loading, so it is technically not a "real" map. It appears for less than 2 seconds before the real map loads.

The map itself seems to take place in the desert, and the included image suggests it to be near an oasis.

Trivia

  • Players who experienced a glimpse of the Glitch map though that perhaps it was a new map coming soon to Combat Arms. Some players even tried out of desperation to get a multitude of players into the Game Room as fast as possible in order to test this map, to no avail.
  • After Fireteam was first announced (not released), many players thought this would be the map it would be released with. This proved to be untrue, however, with the release of Desert Thunder.
  • It is unknown whether the Glitch Map is still previewable, ever since the update to Combat Arms' UI.
