A Model Vest is a very unique type of vest. Model vests are essentially default-default armor. These vests are automatically assigned to a player model, and when using that model, a player cannot use any other vests other than the one assigned. Several character models have their own vests, including Max and Hauser.
Model Vests are not limited to just armor, as sometimes accessories and even skin will become protective.
