It is one rank above Colonel/V and one below Major General.

- From this rank on, players will not receive a GP rank bonus.
- On April 18, 2010, Greatfullded became the first Brigadier General.
- This rank marks the unlock of all GP weapons, gear and special items. Anything onwards are rank rewards.
- There are currently 290 people ranked as Brigadier General in Combat Arms North America, and 221 in Combat Arms Europe.
- If the proposed amount restrictions for the upper General ranks would work, there would 1,214 people in North America, and 881 people in Europe be ranked as Brigadier General even if they would have fulfilled the exp requirement to reach higher ranks.
